MONEY HEIST SEASON 4: EVERYTHING YOU SHOULD EXPECT

After several months of waiting from anticipating fans across the world, Netflix hit series, MONEY HEIST has been officially confirmed to return for the fourth season in April, 2020.
Here is everything you need to know about La Casa de Papel part 4 ahead of its return.

Remember that a fourth season was declared while season 3 was on air, which shows the extent of success the dramatic season has enjoyed since starting in 2017. The Spanish series has since gone on to become a fan favourite, influencing culture, language and lifestyle, and even getting translated in more than 14 languages across the world. Wow! I know right?

The previous season ended on a dramatic cliffhanger which saw Nairobi get shot by a mysterious shooter, leaving fans worried about her safety. I have all the gist you need to know about the new series, including who will be in the cast and what could happen when it comes back.

Part four of the show will be released on April 3, 2020 with all episodes available to stream exclusively on the streaming platform. This comes less than a year after the release of the third outing, which dropped on July 19, 2019.

However, some fans were hoping the series could have returned earlier after one of the stars hinted at a January release.
Rodrigo de La Serna (known as Palermo in the series) told to Argentinian publication Cadena 3 about the next season. He said: “The fourth is already set and has a release date for January, we are very happy.”
But right now, it has been confirmed that fans would have to wait a few more months to see the show on their screens.
The cast for season four seems to have been confirmed in the new teaser trailer for the show.

The short clip released online showed Tokyo (played by Úrsula Corberó), Professor (Álvaro Morte), Lisbon (Itziar Ituño), Rio (Miguel Herrán), Denver (Jaime Lorente), Stockholm (Esther Acebo), Palermo (Rodrigo De la Serna), Helsinki (Darko Peric), Bogotá (Hovik Keuchkerian) and Marsella (Luka Peros).
The trailer also gave us some surprises with the currently dead Berlin (Pedro Alonso) making an appearance as well as Nairobi (Alba Flores) whose fate was left uncertain at the end of season three.
Other returning cast members for the new series are expected to include Najwa Nimri as Alicia Sierra and Enrique Arce as Arturo Román.
Nothing has been said about any new additions to the cast so far.

While there have been no official reveals about what will happen next in the show yet, it is expected to pick up soon after the season three finale.
This ended on a number of dramatic cliffhangers including Nairobi getting hit by a bullet while standing by the window in the Bank of Spain and the Professor believing his girlfriend and co-conspirator Lisbon had been killed by police. Season 4 of Money Heist is expected to see the team attempt to escape from the bank despite being surrounded by police.

Just how they will do this has not yet been revealed with the brief teaser trailer only showing how many of the cast will be back again for season four.

Although it was accompanied by a tagline reading “Let the chaos begin,” hinting how season four may be the most dramatic outing yet.

I am excited about the new season. Are you?
