DRAKE DISSES DAD AFTER HE ACCUSES HIM OF FAKING ABSENTEE FATHER LYRICS

The rapper is clapping back at his own dad after Dennis Graham claimed Drake made up his lyrics about him being an absentee father. The man argued that the only reason why he says such things in some of his songs’ lyrics is to be more relatable and appealing and therefore sell more records.

Earlier today, Drake took to social media to address those accusations, writing that: ‘Woke up today so hurt. My father will say anything to anybody that’s willing to listen to him. It is sad when family gets like this, but what can we do that’s the people we’re stuck with. Every bar I ever spit was the truth and the truth’s hard for some people to accept.’

In other words, the rapper seems to be really into his feelings about his father’s claims regarding his art and insists he’s always used his real-life, personal experiences in his songs.

This all started with his father stopping by Nick Cannon’s Power 106.1FM morning show about a week ago.

Nick, who mentioned that his own dad ‘wasn’t there the entire time,’ went on to also note that the same can be said about Dennis and Drake, as it’s suggested in the latter’s rap lyrics.

But that is when the father suggested that was not the case at all!

‘I had a conversation with Drake about that. I always been with Drake. I talk — I talk to him if not every day, then every other day. We really got into a deep conversation about that. I said, ‘Drake, why are you saying all of this different stuff about me? Man, this is not cool.  He [said], ‘Dad, it sells records.’ Uh-okay. Okay, well [we’re] cool,’ he dished.

The host laughed and said he wished his father was also that understanding.
